Thank you for this lovely reflection. It feels to me like a warm echo of the story of the beginning of the Buddha's search. Just at the time that he was becoming dis-illusioned as a young man encountering the reality of aging, sickness, and death, he is inspired by the brightness he sees in the face of "a yellow-robed samana" seeking the Deathless.
